Living on Campus
Admission to Student Residence is conditional upon your admission as a student at Mount Royal University or another post-secondary institution.
Admission preference will be done in the following sequence:
- Students with accessibility requirements
- Priority housing groups
- Mount Royal students (full time)
- Mount Royal students (part time)
Application Process
Residence Services will keep you updated via email throughout your application process, so please monitor your inbox closely. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at residence@mtroyal.ca.
Application Steps:
- Application Initiated: You've started or completed the initial part of your application in the Residence Portal. To proceed, please pay the application fee.
- Application Fee Received: We've received your application fee and will email you the next steps.
- Offer Made: You've been extended a housing offer. Please check your email for the Offer Letter.
- Offer Accepted or Declined: If you accept the offer, you'll continue with the application process. If you decline, your application will be cancelled for that term.
- Waiting on Confirmation Deposit: You've accepted the housing offer and completed the remaining application steps in the Residence Portal. The final step is to pay your confirmation deposit.
- Confirmation Deposit Received: Your confirmation deposit has been received, and your application is now complete! We'll send more information about roommate selection, unit placement, and move-in day details via email soon.
